A discussion meeting of Bogura’s Dhunat Upazila Awami League has been held in memory of those killed in the grenade attack on August 21. The meeting was held at Mujib Chattar in the city at 5 pm on Saturday. The meeting was presided over by Alhajj Habibur Rahman MP.
Bogura District Awami League Vice President Advocate Amanullah Khan, Mayor AGM Badsha, Dhunat Upazila Awami League Vice President Golam Sobhan, Rezaul Karim Talukder, Shafiqul Islam, Rezaul Karim Reza, Engineer Muhammad Asif Iqbal Sony, Joint Secretary Mohsin Alam, Organizing Secretary Shoriful Islam Khan, AL leader Afsar Ali, Advocate Khoda Box Talukder and other prominent leaders also discussed the meeting.
Speakers at the meeting protested the assassination attempt on the Prime Minister and demanded immediate execution of the verdict in the grenade attack case.
At the end of the discussion, a special prayer was offered for the health and longevity of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and peace of the souls of the martyrs of August 21.
